Tap and Jazz For Kids
A fun family concert designed to introduce preschool and grade school age children to tap dancing and jazz music and the use of creative improvisation in rhythm. Familiar songs as are played to demonstrate how to understand and appreciate tapping and jazz. Audience interaction and participation is encouraged. "Secret Nursery Rhyme", "Sing with the Tappers", "Call and Response" games are played and the group plays hits from David Leonhardt's popular “Jazz For Kids” CD. Teachers and Parents love it!
